Another great series, Norm. The home of stinging things in the first image gives me the shivers. Wasps are my personal phobia.
It was lying in the parking lot at Cameron Road. There are critters that think those wasps are tastey. Especially this time of year, when they are likely to be frozen and inactive in the morning.

It's been bad year for mushroom shots, instead of my usual 300 shots with 80 keepers, this year I got maybe 15. Cross posted where relevant.

K-1 and DFA 100 macro - Pixel Shift, MF mode and Live View _Tripod mounted with 2 second timer.
100 ISO , ƒ11, AV

I particularly like the first one -- it's almost heart shaped.

Thanks Albert. Just practicing my macro "rocking the camera" manual focus technique. Of course the acrylic just sits there, unlike live bugs. ;-)

M is for Macro

Here's my contribution to macro photography. By the way, I did no "gardening"-I just photographed what Nature created.

This image I made during a photo course. It wasn't with a macro lens, as I don't have one, but I used a macro filter on the end, probably a +4. I like the colour rendition in this. The shapes are clear and the background works well.

With my *istD and d-mount/c-mount lens (inverse), f5.6/8 approx I found the reflecting light in crystals a fine experience
