Thank you - ths was actually one of those easier shots where I could lie on my stomach with my elbows on the ground and camera jammed to my face - rock solid - all you have to do is fiddle with focus and wait for your moment

Thanks mate, I contemplated adding a reflector to add some light to the other side but decided I liked it with the shadows, so all in all it worked out alright

I went into my back yard yesterday and found 4 Monarch Caterpillars on a Milkweed Stalk with all the greenery eaten. My wife took two of them and I took the other two and moved them to the side yard where there are many milkweed plants for them to munch on. This morning I went to check on them to see how they were doing and found all four still there. One had attached itself to a stem on a Fire Bush to start its chrysalis. I used my Pentax K-3 camera and a Pentax FA 100mm 2.8 Macro lens for these shots.
