First time posting any pics here. I love this lens...maybe my favorite macro...even though it is only 1:2.

This is probably a 40%ish crop. I made the original crop 2629pix width but flickr downsized it to 1024. I guess Im to cheap to pay for a real account....
actually it's not just good but excellent considering that wasn't even shot at macro distance. I could had shot the image at 1:1 or 1:2 magnification to show the details at an even more intricate level, but that wasn't my intention.

anyway, great detail on the housefly. hope to get some shots by next week. weather here has been really weird this year.

received my D-FA 100mm today and I must say it lives up to it's reputation..a few from my walk with my dogs to test it today

I feel so left out without a thread for us reverse lens users! My macro lens is nothing more than a paper weight right now :ugh:
