My last contribution to this thread for the foreseeable future, as my D-FA 100mm f2.8 WR, the very first I ever bought after the kit lens, has been sold off in favour of the FA 77.

Here're the two last shots it took:

First pics from my "new" viv 55 2.8

Here are some shots I took while playing with my newly aquired Vivitar 55mm 2.8 lens mounted on my Pentax K10D.

This is also my very first post of pics on any forum here.

There is no PP done. I shot in RAW (adobe png) and then converted to jpg with GIMP.

Click on any of the pics to go to my flikr if you want to see larger sizes.

A* 200mm Macro does birds and flowers too!

Came back from a nice trip to the west coast. Did some hikes and brought the very versatile A*200 macro with me. Just can't get enough of the lens + K5 combo, if I had the money I'd buy another K5 and permanently fix this lens to it.

glad you didn't get stung by these Daniel. can't forget one experience I had with these. it stung me at the back of my neck. boy, it did hurt a lot and felt like someone gave me a stingy punch. it burned like hell and had given me a migraine for the whole day. I wonder if it hit a nerve.

Dear friends,

I just got a F 50mm f2.8 macro and am loving it. The pictures are tack sharp. It would be great if someone can suggest me the best adapters / extension tubes for macro photography (particularly for this lens)? Also, I assume the filter for this lens would be a 52 mm ? Your suggestions are welcome.

Thanks
Praveen
