Thanks, Jeweltrail! The Tammy is a lovely lens that was probably the best value-for-money lens I've ever owned.

Here's another Leica 100/2.8 macro from yesterday (it's been raining a lot here):

Uh oh, two in a row.

Here are a couple of shots done with a K-x & M 100 macro of a Lucky Buddha beer bottle.

Spectacular shot Daniel. The texture just comes alive in that capture.

Hey guys, shot these the other day with my Sigma 70-300 4-5.6 APO DG Macro lens. Not a dedicated macro but it does get 1:1. Enjoy.

Wow JulianS! That's a great shot! Kind of creepy but so cool!
How big are those millipedes? They are tiny here and it would be tough to get a shot like that with just 100mm.

Thanks! They must be about 4 inches long, here is another millipede that's about half the size:

Also taken with the D FA WR 100mm.

Martin those pictures are stunning. I thought I had made up my mind to go with the tamron but now I'm not so sure.

@xfloggingkylex, thanks a lot.:-)

I got the D FA 100mm about a week ago. So far no regrets! A really nice piece of glass producing sharp photos - not to mention the smooth bokeh.
