Head Shot. Heavily cropped, actual pixels, fair amount of PP.

Thanks. My best bird pictures to date.

Been trying for years to come close to what I see you and others regularly produce in these clubs.

I've learned a lot from your comments and pictures, as well as others here in Macro, and from the 300 club!

Jellysfishes are really nice photo objects. Almost extraterrestrial in their appearance
I specially like the 2nd shot. Aquarium, or are you diving...

Thanks Douglas. These are definitely from the Aquarium. Unfortunately, I don't have the appropriate gear (dive-wise or camera-wise) to pull this off IN the water.

Agree. Nice work--aquarium photography can be pretty challenging.

Darn right, dadipentak! Time travel sure is fun. I've just been on a macro kick after stirring up a swarm of the woodlice the other day. When they first popped out of the tree, I thought they were roaches, but saw they were the big version of rollie polies.

With the spider shot, I saw the web, caught an interest in it, then a fly ruins my shot. Out pops Mr. Spider to devour his meal in front of me, delivering some of the coolest insect macros I've had yet.
