First time using a Minolta 25mm micro bellows lens. This is a grasshopper eye.

312 Shots
F2.5
Pentax K-5 body
Pentax bellows 140mm extension.
No clue what the magnification was. My guess was around 7-8X.
I could have calculated the magnification but I didn't really care what it was exactly.
Stackshot was used.
That's crazy awesome! I've been meaning to try focus stacking, but I never get around to it. Maybe you've inspired me enough. I'll definitely try it manually with bellows first, though, before investing in something like the StackShot.

Here's some asbestos crystals taken with the Sigma 50mm f/2.8 macro, AF version. I think this was around 1:3 or 1:2, at f/11. I love this lens more every time I use it. Light source was an LED bike headlight with a tissue over it. I need a flash...

Focus was off a bit on this due to the breeze, but came out okay

There are some awesome shots in the thread. Good job on all of them.

I can hardly wait until I can use my own Macro lens; a Tamron SP Adaptal 90mm Macro; True 1:1 lens.

Definite improvement in quality over the original Q sensor. Now I might have to think about buying one....
Thanks guys.

Yes, a bit better iso and diffraction limit all adds to make it the better Q for macros.
