Cannot remember for sure, but it is definitely the "look" that I wanted, so I would have plucked some seeds if the seed head were other than it appears in the photo. I wanted to show the central spot where the seeds attach, as well as the seeds themselves attached to it, not just their para-sails.

So...this is a poor attempt at larger-than-life-macro, using the excellent Tamron 52BB (90mm 1:2 macro), the Tamron 01F 2x teleconverter, and an additional Sigma KA 2x teleconverter.

At least the stamens are in focus...
