I'm a fellow buckeye too. Let me join the love-fest with a different kind of nut.

Hi buckeyes! I got black walnuts all over the ground, but no pix right now because they are buried under 10 inches of snow!

M always gets a little misty when the local buckeye trees are in bloom, a few specimens here and there, no mass plantings I know of. They remind her of her undergrad years at Oberlin, the glorious profusion of flowers an indication that the academic year was drawing to a close.

More spiders

Here's a couple of my favorite spider images. The first one is a tiny jumping spider I found in the umbrella stand on my patio; the second I shot in its web along side a pond. Both shot with my A* 200 macro on my K-1.

200mm f4 macro, an old friend, on a K3. The lens has seen many camera bodies come & go, including an LX.
