Lol, as that being one thing I never used to mix-up in the past I felt obligated to be overly apologetic.
Only downhill from here on, I'm afraid.
Been there, done that.

The Voigt Nokton 58/1.4 SLII does landscape

Went with a group of Pentaxians for an out-of-town sunrise shoot just this Sunday. Now the main subjects are sunrise and landscape, and normally anyone in his right mind would either pick a wide/ultrawide or a long lens (for sunrise). But I decided to use only one lens - my Voigt Nokton 58/1,4 SLII - and see how it fares out. I was not disappointed

During the whole roadtrip, I used just this one lens (except for one or two sunrise shots), and here are some of my favorites from this weekend's roadtrip:

The Break of Dawn

Chasing the light

Morning sea mist

Waiting

Off to sea

Sturm und Drang

The crevice

Phantasm

Sunday breakfast treat

The 125mm f/2.5 Apo-Lanthar must be my sharpest lens wide open - by far. The microcontrast is out of this world.

While the APO Voigtländers are renowned for their colour reproduction, I'd like to add a B&W from the 180mm.

Nice one, Bart!

But this topic should be more lively... Here's one of my most recent macros with the 125.

Voigt APO Lanthar 90mm f3.5 SLII

Anyone recently acquired this lens (Voigt Apo Lanthar 90mm f3.5 SLII). Care to share your shots/experience?

Its been an incredible lens.... I believe I've only tapped a small portion of its potential but I do get urges for something exotic (que Voigtländer ) once in a while, and some of these images are outstanding! It is one of the few lenses I own that I would have no problem selling for a replacement though. (my M 85mm will go to the grave with me, whether I have the new sigma 85mm or not )

Thanks, Asahiflex

Voigtländer 125 is more than a macro lens.
I have very few entries in PPG but 3 of them are with this lens and none of them is a macro shot.

Another example (clearly not in PPG):

This was taken a few weeks ago with a Sigma ring flash.

Poppy In The Rain

K20D, Voigtlander 125mm, f 6.7 @ 1/180, ISO 200 + Sigma Ring Flash

I've had this lens for about two years and am just finding its optimal closeup capabilities. The only other lens that rivals it for total rendering is the Pentax FA 50mm f2.8 Macro, which I recently obtained. Both should serve me well for decades.

Vls 125/2.5

Last weekend session with dragonflies. VLS 125 is the best macro I've owned.

Great shots, especially I love the last one. Love the light on her face.

Bought a Voigtlander 58/1.4 SLII a couple of weeks ago, mostly used on film, here is one of the very few I took w/ K7, my favorite drink (@ F1.4):

The lens works pretty well with my SuperA camera on Reala 100 film:
