Just the 125/2.5. As I have the pretty decent Sigma 1.4x and 2x TCs and Pentax 1.7x AF TC, I'd try them if I needed/wanted more reach before allowing LBA to kick-in again, if the 180 is even avail by then. ...with the 1.4x netting about the same focal length and glass speed (albeit about 1lb. heavier then the 180 alone! )

There is one for sale in Pentax KA mount here in Singapore (about US$600).

Bidding will be frenzied for this because there are few if any loose copies in Nikon mount in circulation. There are people prepared to pay top dollar for this.

I'm not sure if I found this link on here or another forum -- pardon the dup if this has been posted here before -- but a lotta OMG shot taken with the 125mm f/2.5 (pretty much exclusively I believe as the thread is devoted to it) ...

You really have to make a commitment to see all the pics ... the thread is 84 pages with at least one or more pic in the majority of the posts!

Woa, so many shots in one thread! Would almost seem as though this lens is very popular. Some of the first shots were not as good though, interesting to see the variety in shots taken with the same lens, I noted that the not so good shots in the beginning were taken with canon (herr herr).

I must say this lens really deserves to be called razor sharp... I can imagine it running circles around the 50-135 at 125 vs 125 (especially since that zoom performs better at the short end). imagine if they had put SDM in that beast...

Also, little bit OT but there is also a similar thread there with images from the Zeiss 50 that Cosina is now making and that is available in K mount. Im guessing most of the shots there are not from pentax cameras though...

I have all them: 90, 125 and 180.

All are well done, solid metal pice of art.

some 125 examples:
https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/pentax-slr-lens-discussion/10949-voigtlan...rst-shots.html

some 90 examples:

I don't have a lot of chances to test 180, just one shot:

Overall for these money MUST TO HAVE.

bored at work macro.

The 125 @ 1:1 (38cm distance) handheld with built-in flash. f8, 400 ISO. Its a little blue rubber monster to stick on your fingertip... surely these things have migrated worldwide?

Wow, very eeeenteresting photo... A candidate for the "what is it" thread if you ask me but alas you spilled the beans.

Slightly OT ... the 38mm [correction: 38cm ] 1:1 distance. That is measured from the sensor to subject, not front of lens to subject, correct? Thanx.

38cm. Minimum focus distance. Its a consistent 125mm from the sensor to the rear element - or in my possible case, it could be out a few (see my infinity focus thread).

not that anyone needs me to confirm the lens is all it's cracked up to be, but well, it is!

I made a thread on my "first few moments" with the lens. Well ok, maybe 1st hour, but I like the way the former sounds....
