APO- Lanther SL11 90mm f3.5 's can be found at a place called Hong Kong Buy & Sell (HKBNS) for $489.99US directly from their website ( Hong Kong Buy and Sell Limited ) ,I have bought 3 Voigtlanders from them and have found them to be great to deal with. They also sell on ebay but at a premium,it is better to buy directly from their website.

Wow, I wish I'd had that link when I bought two of my lenses from them (including the 90mm . . . and you are right, very reliable, they had me my lenses in two days). They were still cheaper on Ebay than anyone else at the time, but not quite the bargain apparently as dealing directly with them.

20mm skopar (first) vs 15Ltd (second) comparison. The PP is the same for both shots.
It's obvious skopar is much sharper lens at the infinity and edges. I also prefer it's color rendition over limited. 15Ltd tends to add bluish cast. It helps sometimes, but usually isn't a good thing especially in case with saturated green.

Outstanding!!

As a newcomer, can't buy a fudging thing. Want a Zeiss 21, a Voigt APO 125...anything great is discontinued.

I wouldn't buy the distagon 21. The biogon 21 is cheaper and slightly better optically, from what I have seen (lesser distortion and better CA handling with sharpness that is on par with distagon at least). Plus it's compact enough :-) . With the NEX body of course.
The VL 125 is unbeatable though

BTW, "test" shot taken with distagon 21 I had:

Emacs: thank you for images...

much thought... DA15 looks like wrong focused... but, some buildings looks sharp... left side very soft, right side consist CA.... I'm confused with limited quality at F8/180... :-/ my FA31 make picture much better....
VL is good, but not excellent I think...

p.s. maybe bridge have been shaken?

Did you think 15Ltd is optically perfect? No of course, nowhere near that. It is field curvature: want sharp center — will get soft edges. Want good edges: center won't be as sharp as it could be. 31Ltd is much better in this aspect, as well as 77Ltd.

Few wide angles can compete with longer focal lengths. You own one of them, the Zeiss 21 . . . that shot above shows its stuff. I do think the shot with the DA 15mm looks slightly over exposed, and possibly suffering from a little movement. Was it on a tripod? Still, the VL continues to impress me, better color and resolution than the DAs, relatively sharp (for the 20mm range) on the corners. I think it is a great little lens.

I think that Limited lens should have outstanding IQ. That true for most FA limited lens, so I believe that it's true for all limited series.
I use my FA31 for landscape photo primarily, and sometime I need wider lens, but can't find anything with outstanding IQ like FA31. So sad to see IQ of DA15 that I want to buy in future for the same goal as FA31... Why people buy 15lim?

Manual focus doesn't matter much for photo with infinity focus, so I looking for all cases... Do you try Zeiss lens, what about 18 or 21?

The DA Limiteds are not the same quality as the FA Limiteds. I owned the DA 15 (and the 35 Limited), both were fine lenses, but not as good as Voigtlanders, nor as good as the FA 31 I had a chance to test.

What do you have against the Voigtlander Color Skopar 20mm? It is a great lens. The only lens I know of that beats it is the Zeiss 21, but at 4 or 5 times the cost (if you can find it).

Manual focus with 15Ltd isn't a good thing. Most copies of that pass the infinity. And this lens really needs good light.
As for zeiss, I had Distagon 21 but sold it already. I wouldn't recommend buying their SLR lens but ZM with NEX body as I did. Distagon 18 ZM outperforms the 18 ZK with a great margin (practically no CA, across the frame sharpness at any aperture and it's all in compact package). Biogon 21 supposed to be a slightly better performer than distagon 21 as well, although the latter is stellar too, but is too large and heavy. CV 20 is quite good at infinity but not as good at close shots. Actually, I don't have Distagon 18 ZM but Leica Super Elmar 18 and most reviewers say the difference between them is quite subtle, the CZ even has slight edge.

I found 15Ltd good for indoors and some travel situations, when you need a wide angle (e.g. inside of temples, on narrow streets etc.). For landscape, however, it is not as good. I agree with other commenters that VL 20/3.5 is really a good option, but I hope to try Pentax A 20/2.8 soon to compare.

Just followed an auction where an A20/2.8 went for over $500. They're getting pricey! I'd love to see a photo comparison between it and a VL20.

I'm in need of a good wide landscape lens. I'd get the Samyang 14 if only it could use filters...now I'm thinking a quality 17-21mm prime would be best. Looking at reviews it seems like the kit zoom in that range is rated equal to most prime solutions, but I can't imagine that's true...my kit zoom produces fuzz at 18mm f/8.
