I enjoy using my nifty 58. I am still getting used to it on ff.

Took this shot of the sun at the height of the recent Sonoma County fires when smoke darkened the sky. K-1 and Voigtlander 90mm lens:

A walk in the rain

VL 58. It is contrasty enough that I love taking it out when there are grey dull skies.

I have been enjoying the images from the CV20's on this thread for a while, so finally managed to buy one in very nice condition. It is late summer here in NZ, and I was out for a walk along the coast with one of my buddies, a fellow Pentaxian, on sunset.

Joining the club with the humble Ultron 2.0/40. Here are some from a recent trip to Prague.

I also posted a few with the close-up lens over in the Bokeh Club

Reacquired the CV 75/2.5 Color Heliar. I owned and sold it while I was using the K-7. I just bought it again to test because when I reacquired the Nokton 58/1.4 to try out on the K1 (which I'd also used on the K-7 and K-3 but sold), the Nokton metamorphed into one of the finest lenses I've ever used, as though it needed a better sensor to really show its stuff. First shots on the K1 suggest the same is true for the CV 75, and well lives up to its name color Heliar.

Here's a shot at a local fruit market wide open:

Shot below shows it is sharp from corner to corner at f2.5 as well. Full:

For those interested in carrying a light kit . . . I use the Voigtlander 180/4 like I used to use a 300mm lens. It's a fraction the weight and size (485g, 66 x 79mm), and so razor sharp at f4 it allows for extreme crops like the pic below shot about 100 feet away and cropped:

K1, CV180 @f4. Straw hats—standard issue for working in a vineyard:
