Just bought the 35mm f1.4 to make friends with the 8mm fish eye, and they both are wonderful lenses! Don't think they will help cure the LBA!

That Samyang 100-500mm f7.1 is working out just fine. Here's a photo I took a couple of days ago:

Wow, the pic of the bee and cat is great!
Here's one i took last night; was out looking for the venus-passage, but as it turned out to be no bigger than a pixel and, quite frankly, wholly unimpressive without a big tele, i took out my 8mm Samyang instead.

Here is some I took recently.

Seems that it is possible to shoot flower pics too with this beast + extencion tubes

What a terrible thread to have come across. I thought I'd cured my LBA. I've been "on the wagon" now for several months, lotsa days, a few hours and some minutes.
Now I'm lusting for Samyangs. Top of the list will be the 85, but I can't decide between the 8 and 14. They're both calling to me.
Must go and call someone now......

Regards

Wow repaap, nice shots. Now you have me wanting the 85.

I wanted to ask a question also, probably not a Samyang problem but wanted to be sure. As some of you know I have a Samyang 100-500mm A lens. I used it recently in a Single in challenge and wanting to check my shutter count, I uploaded a photo to PhotoMe. Well, PhotoMe is reading this lens as a Sigma 400mm f4. Is it PhotoMe that's wrong or what?

Thanks Photolady!

I dont know about your lens, but sometimes camera messes up with other lenses too, for example my Tokinas are Sigma or pentas F lenses... Go figure.
