few from recent trip, just learning how to use this lens, 14mm. I am missing little bit sharpness for distant objects, but maybe i need to find the "right" settings. Following images, all around f5.6, handheld, last one with tripod. No post processing, directly from camera and with 100% crop

let me know what do you think, images look good for this lens? i will probably keep it

Hi romansolar, to my eyes on these images it looks good, great looking shots. Detail seems to be good too.

some shots with the SY 24mm....it's a very good walkaround lens

if you push the Info button on the K5 in Live View several times it's possible to fine tune the focus on key objects.....it helps me when having difficulties to focus

Just ordered a Samyang 8mm, so in a few days I will become a member of this club. The pictures I saw in this thread and in the wide lenses one helped me decide.

Any 24mm Tilt shift owners in the house? The LBA bug has bitten and the TS is the only way to satisfy the bug assuming the price is reasonable, like some change from a grand.

They don't make the Tilt Shift in Pentax mount, unfortunately.

Maybe they changed their mind. Initially they were going to make the lens for K mount, but the lens would not work on the K-30, so it was scrapped. With the coming of the K-50, it should work now, so maybe they're going to make it. You still can't buy it, so we'll see.

Well advice I've had from the local distributor is that the TS will or is available in PK mount.

Really? How come, what is so different about the K30?

The nose, where the popup flash is, extends too far out for the Samyang lens to fully adjust in all directions.

I think the new 16mm f/2 looks to be possibly the most interesting Samyang lens. I will be interested to see how it performs, though I'm not sure when it's due in PK.

Amazone.de has it listed as available for K-mount. Walimex Pro f3,5/24 mm Tilt-Shift Objektiv f

If someone gives me the 999,99€ necessary I can test availability.
