First of all, thank you very much, comments like this do give you the occasional boost that you need for motivation. You guys are very kind . I personally think this is ok, I give it a 7/10 or so, but I do think I can make a better shot of it. I'll reshoot again, next version should be a little bit better. Or maybe not, tell me what you think

Last one from this moth - added a 1.6 TC into the mix which lets me get into 5x-10x territory quite well:

Seems contrast takes a hit with the TC or?

I would really love to see a snapshot over the rig you use now. I bet it looks geeky/interesting

Nass the eyes look different in each shot - is it just the angle of reflection?

No, the change in eye appearance is due to drying. Structures inside the eye delaminate and you start getting reflections from all the new surfaces.
