If you don't mind focussing, this lens is really hard to beat in the 50mm range, impossible in fact if value is brought into the equation.

Edit: This iris really did not grow sideways. I just cannot yet figure out how to force Pentax Forum to preserve the my specified photo orientation/rotation. Please turn your monitor on its side or just turn your head to view.

Thanks Christian, apologies for the scarce quality of the B&W pic but I developed myself and I still have to learn a lot.

I would recommend the Nokton 58 mm to anybody, he's a pretty good lens, with good resolution on film and creamy bokeh.

Other examples:

The 50mm Notkon for RF is no slouch either.
