Fujinon EBC 50/1.4 wide open at the Cathedral of Clermont-Ferrand ... I just acquired this one and have Q-tip tube modified it to full manual. I have not decided whether or not I will file down the aperture tab ... quickly taken before a closing. More later & x-post from the K-1 thread.

Great shots with a great lens. When I decide to put the D FA 50mm 2.8 on a camera, it tends to live there for a while because of the high percentage of keepers.

out this morning with the 50 I call 'the forgotten fifty' since you never hear of this lens being recommended, how stellar it is, or how versatile it is...

Got a friend at my nightly outing. Counted about 20 of them along the way, this one had time to stay still for me to set up the tripod, focus with liveview and take couple of shots. It was quite dark, 1:20AM, but K-5 with Rikenon didn´t let down!

This is 1,3 sec, ISO 640 and f/2,8 with XR Rikenon 50mm f/1,7

Pentax - A 50/1.7 is my most used lens for panoramas. Having infinity hard-stop, good resolution and not extremely high contrast helps in this case.

To break the Drought...

...after a long absence, here is the much-maligned 50mm/2.0 A kit lens, at f/2.8 (taken on the K-5).

The colours and focus are a bit soft, but I think I like that.
