I took this one a while ago, but I still really like it. At the time I only had my 18-135 zoom that came with my camera, and the F 50mm I used for this. The relatively wide max aperture let me push the shutter speed up high enough to freeze the water. Being able to capture pictures like this have totally fueled my LBA for prime lenses.

Great shot!!!

Nice lighting on the first one, and I'm impressed with the quality of these macro shots, particularly the last one.

Agree. I am extremely surprised at the quality you are getting out of a front-mounted macro filter like the Raynox. Very impressive!

Thanks guys,
Yes the Raynox has much better image quality than the regular single element closeup filters. because it's two element.
The only issue of it comparing with a macro lens is that it can't give you a flat focus field! but in normal using like flowers and insect, it's great!
I had a wonderful month with it on M135/3.5 last month! Check them here if you are interested.

Me, too.

Seriously considering an acquisition here based on what I have seen. J

Octopus in an aquarium. M 50mm f1.7. The optical aberrations you see are introduced by the aquarium glass, not the lens
