Love the motion blur on the boats, whcih gives the photo an almost impressionistic feel.
Thank you a lot, that's encouraging.

I really like this photo. The motion blur of the coloured boats is perfect . Well done!

Another photo taken by FA50 macro + K3
The more I use this lens, the more I like it. It got a word "macro" printed on, but I use it mainly for landscape. the same goes to my 100wr

Yes, I agree. My FA 50 macro as well as my Tokina 90 macro both are excellent for landscape/environmental work. I like your work very much.

Fantastic golden light! I've got this lens but as of yet I'm a bit undecided about it.

Anyways seeing as I've just wandered into this thread, is this strictly for 50mm or does any lens in in the 50's count...I'm guessing the latter?

thank you, and I guess any lens in 50 should be find too.
You mean you got a FA 50 macro? If you haven't done yet, try it out at night, it makes beautiful starbursts.

Yes, it is one of seven 50's in my kit...can we have too many 50's? I haven't used it at night but the few times I have was mostly for landscape and some closeups, not for true macro.

I had hoped that it would fill the role that the da 35mm limited had when I was mostly shooting landscapes and closeups on APSc. The FA50mm macro doesn't quite work out the same way so that's why I'm on the fence about it...the da*55mm, however has more or less jumped into that role but it lacks the MFD of a true macro so it limits my closeup capabilities.

Anyways in keeping with the purpose of this thread here are a few random 50's shots seen elsewhere on this forum...will post some newer stuff later as I go through my backlog of images.

Helios 44_2 + K01

DA* 55mm + K1

SMC K50/1.2 @1.2 with 25mm extension tube + K01
