1st time I using 50mm to shoot landscape.
Shot with K1 + Sigma 50 F2.8 macro, 4 shots stitched and merged to 68MP, cropped to 60MP.

Great corn patch Jonathan . . . I really like my Revuenon 50/1.4 too. I have heard this lens was made by a great lens maker, maybe Tomioka?

My Revuenon 1.7/50 looks identical to the 'usual' Revuenon 50/1.4 and is easily the smoothest focusing lens I have (among ~30 or such). Lettering is not engraved, but otherwise it is very nicely built. Optically not great wide open, easily flares, and is yellowing.

I think it is identical to the Chinon 50 mm f/ 1.7 Auto MC (except for the focus rubber ring), so I expect the 1.4/50 to be the same as the corresponding Chinon 50mm f/1.4.

The subject of my 1947 Kodak Anastigmat 50mm/3.5 came up in another thread yesterday, reminding me that I haven't used it for a while. So I took it out for a nice sunny May afternoon's walk today with absolutely nothing gloomy about it at all. I always like taking the 50A for a walk in the garden.

NOTE: Wish PF would not post my vertical photos sideways. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

Make sure that "Save Rotation Info" is set to ON in the camera's menu, which is usually hidden away at the bottom of the custom menus. That will tell any software displaying the photo that it should be in portrait orientation.

Thanks for the suggestion Dave. I checked and that option is already ON for both the K-1 and K-3 cameras, so I will keep looking for something else.
