SMC-K 50mm f/1.2

I took some 50mm lenses out for some tests since I have 3 new ones... yes I bought them all at once, the previous owner also liked 50mm lenses! The light was boring at lunch time so I won't bore you with all pictures, but I think the K 50 f1.2 actually made the the light seem better than it was, after they all got the same dose of PP... so here it is at f8. It seems sharper than the M 50 1.4 and M 50 1.7, and as sharp as M 50 f4 Macro.

And a boring wide open shot that shows not just the nice bokeh, but that the in focus to out of focus transition is better than anything I've ever seen.

I find the SMC K 50mm f1.2 to be an exceptional lens, Other may agree, or not agree, but I will go to my grave with that lens.

I know it's a fast lens, but won't you need a flash for those post-burial shots?

Not exactly 50mm, but awfully close. I wish I could shoot it on a Pentax body.

Konica Hexanon AR f/1.8 52mm, at f/4
Konica Autoreflex A3 film slr body, at 1/000 sec.
Expired Fujicolor 100, at box speed
