I hadn't used the Auto Revuenon 50/1.4 for a while so I broke it out last week to use for some blossom photos. These two were both taken wide open.

Misty Dawn

Didn't sleep too well, awoke early and was greeted with this view of the Loch... makes me wonder what else I must miss on other mornings.

Some more blossom shots with the Auto Revuenon 50/1.4. I really like the way this lens renders - colours are great, bokeh is very good and it's sharper wide open (and at f/2) than traditional Pentax 50/1.4s.

"Oh, what a tangled web we weave" Part II

From an area known locally as "The Cover", which is one of the largest intact floodplain woodlands in the UK.
