Cheers Douglas, I think the reason why this thread is not as popular is that most people shoot DA Limited {pancakes} but they usually go to the DA Limited thread, outside of that, there isn't that many pancake lenses...

Coming fresh off a month with M28 f2.8 I found DA40 needs to be use in a different context, with 28mm you can let in a lot of surroundings, but with 40mm it's better to focus on the people and what their are doing rather than what they interact with the environment, so expect to see a bit more of upper body shots this month, like this one

I don't know...I have about 15 pancakes myself, about half of them mount on a Pentax, the rest I can mount on their original film-cameras or on my Samsung NX with adapter. And there are many more pancakes that I don't have.

The DA21 should qualify as a pancake, I assume...

Touché, we Pentaxian should celebrate out pancake heritage

Finally I have some spare time to use my DA40XS

Many nice shots! I need to get some time posting.

Don'¨t forget that lens porn is welcome as well. Not necessary with as well known lenses as Pentax own 21, 40 and 70mm pancakes (but welcome there also), but essential if you shoot with some less known pancake lens.

Just received my M40 2.8 from DCShooter who worked his magic on it in Red silver and black. Fantastic job, thank you.

DCShooter also applied a CLA so the lens is now better than ever.

More shots in the Gear porn thread...
