My trusty K2 and a notebook full of negatives. Not sure why I like messing around with film, but I do!

Cross-posted in the Pentax Film SLR Discussion forum...

I have a slight pancake obsession. I took the M 40mm on a 10-day trip this summer. Used it almost exclusively; I estimate 80-90% of my photos were with that lens. I love the in-between wide-normal focal length.

I aquired a smc DA 21mm F3.2 from a forum member last spring, and have grown very fond of this little lens. Below are some photos taken with it:

Beautiful images. I've got a DA 21mm Limited coming to me in the mail. It will be my first pancake lens. I'm anxious to put it through it's paces. Do you happen do remember what aperture you used in the nighttime, streetlight shot? Love the sunbursts.

Thank you. I'm sure you'll be very happy with it. My computer file tells me it was shot at f/11.

Below is another sun/starburst taken the same evening, this time at f/8 - it also produced decent bursts.

(note that mine is the old, smc version - the newer one has rounded aperture blades I believe, and probably performs differently)

DA 70 Limited

DA 21 Limited

Do the F28/2.8 and FA20/2.8 qualify as pancakes? And what about the 01 prime and 08 zoom for the Q system?
