However, after years of searching, I've finally acquired a reasonably priced K28/2.0 - the externals are showing their age, but the glass and mechanicals are mint so I'm a happy camper.

It will take me a while to get a handle on it, but here are a couple of early test shots around the house.

Can anyone recommend a 52 hood which will work well with this lens without vignetting on the K-1?
Ach you've not lost this lens Sandy, it's just being exercised over in this state Truth be told I don't use it as much as I should, it was very handy on the last wedding I did, I really should replace it with a FA31 but I still find that purchase a bit hard to swallow and very hard to justify really. I am finding the 20-40 on the K-1 pretty good and getting usable shots out of it around 28mm, so if you really would like the F28 back just lemme know. Till then I will love it some more

After working on the monochrome version of the Yandhai crossing, I almost didn't bother working on a colour version as I was that happy with it, glad I did tho, they both offer something different, hard to choose a favourite now...

I found M 28/2.8 is good for panoramas (at f 11).
