Between the time another discussion thread referred me to this one, and I started to look for my 28mm and a polarizer to try on it, it went from being partly sunny to a cloud bank covering all with only occasional openings. I had to pocket the filter immediately upon going outside and seeing how gray it had become, and it actually sleeted on me between some shots...so sorry no bright primary colors.

These are with my Auto Sears MC 28mm f/2.8 lens, K-mount version (no A setting). This Japan made lens is NOT a Korean-made Sears 28mm lens with the Macro function of the type that Sagitta, Dewman, and KOog were raving about. It may be the same lens ChristianRock posted samples from. There were both Korean and Japanese-made lenses sold under the Sears label. Some lenses famous among Sears lens fans and having a macro function--for example versions of 28mm, 135, 80-200mm focal lengths--were made in Korea.

Nice. I like the goat & the old abandoned car.

I've posted this shot elsewhere in the forums, but not here (I think). M28/3.5

The goat is named Parmesan, though we also like to call him "The Great White Goat of the North." When you buy an old farm, it usually comes with a few abandoned vehicles. Ours came with an old red truck at the bottom of a ravine, a blue AMC Gremlin about to go over the edge into the same ravine, but for the tree blocking its slide, and that rusted old car. I've yet to figure out the make and model. Most if not all of its chrome insignia are missing. It has a lot of other debris in and around it, making close examination more challenging than encouraging.

It's always interesting to see what you will post next, Paul.

We gotta see more photos of Parmesan and the Gremlin. Maybe get them to do some dramatic poses together.... goats are smart, and a goat named Parmesan should be a genius!

We got Parmesan along with 2 other goats who had been raised by small children as a project for the first 1.5 years of the goats' lives. These children decided to name the goats after pizza toppings: Parmesan, Oregano, and Pepperoni.

The Gremlin has slipped partway over the brow of the bluff in the last 30-some years, and I'm not going near it without a rope or chain tied around me. Though a goat could get to it easily. I could shoot the gremlin from the other side of the ravine with a telephoto however. Maybe something for the 300mm+ lens club thread!

Looks like a business coupe.

I'd guess a 1941 Chevrolet Business Coupe.

Might also be a Pontiac, later, around 1948.

Guess this is the best place for my Takumar Bayonet 28mm 2.8!! I also have M28 2.8 and 3.5 as well as ol Tak 28s but the Takumar Bayonet seems to have a bite to it that puts it above the rest. I realise that that is not the accepted hierarchy of things - maybe I have a particularly good one. On my K30 while doing a 4day trek in the Kaimanawas of NZ. The beech forest image is a 2 image stitch - no colour enhancement just a little clarity.

Three specially built vehicles for Festool of Germany. The truck is an International Tractor with roll out greenhouse extensions on both sides for tool demonstrations. Support van is a Mercedes. The Festool blue paint is a Mercedes color. The custom units were built by Spevco of Pfafftown, NC for the USA woodworking tour. Notice the $5000 custom front bumper and 1930's locomotive grille for extra cooling. K-5, F28mm/2.8
