I just received a treestage rubber hood for 270...from quik snapshots I can already see improvement even on my 'ist DS2! Just great now 2.8 is more usable and by f 4 it is just great. Just as Jack has said before, it makes difference. WOW. Maybe I should update also my other lenses with better hoods?

Here is some with AT-X 270 II

This lens and 235 makes a great couple. Now, maybe later on I should get a 80-200/2.8...

Btw, I have been shooting with CLP, and I did attach my new rubber 3-stage to it, so it is quite handy to rotate CLP just rotating that hood. I don't know if anyone else uses this tecniq...

those are amazing! does your copy have some front/back focus? it seems your images are extremely sharp!

Thank you!

I must say that now with that new hood is attached, this lens has got better... And yea After some fiddle I have adjusted + 4 focus for this lens. Now it hit's most of times with my K-7. I still have to recheck. De press and press shutter half way. Not the fastes way, but it gives more keepers I'm still learning this lens, not the easyest, but it works.

I got my 20-35 AT-X Pro in the mail last Friday. Had to get used to it some and still need to work on the pictures I took with it on a small walk around. Anyway picutes seem to be nice, crispy sharp. So now on for a 17mm 3.5 to complete my tokina collection!

Great! 235 needs some work, but when you get used to it...it will be great. One of my most used lens.

Heading to the summer cottage tomorrow and will take my 280 and tripod with me, hope to finally get some serious shots with it. Have been just a bit lazy with photography lately...

Here are some samples I shot. I must say it is a great lens the 235. but it needs to be stopped down to at least F4. But I must say I really like the colours it brings out.

Great shots!

Soory for late reply. Yup, I have seen that my copy needs to be at 3.2 and up to be good, but by 5.6 and up it is great!
