Nice series Freddy, My fave is the first one. nice colors and beautiful light.
Thanks, Mtux. Yes, I think I agree with you. The first shot really brings out the beauty of the Yarrow, which was really my goal on this outing. Its such a beautiful plant. I wanted to capture it in all its glory. Freddy

It's an AF film camera from the '90s: Pentax Z-1p/PZ-1p - Pentax Autofocus Film SLRs - Pentax Camera Reviews and Specifications
The DA 35 seems to work very well with it, as Rob has shown .

The DA 35 doesn't just work well with 35mm film, it works extremely well, as has been demonstrated in the past.

Am I allowed to say this little plastic lens on film looks at least as good as any Leica lens I've ever seen?

(pixel peep that cat scan in its flickr location and dare to tell me I'm wrong!)

Some flower pictures from us walking to the 4th of July parade... all taken while holding a 1 year old with my other hand (can't do that with my manual focus lenses...)

CR, forgive my confusion but what camera and lens did you use on these three flowers. That is amazing iq and outrageously great color.
Were these three shots actually taken with film? Freddy

Freddy - Just my little Plastic Fantastic on the lowly and mostly-unwanted K20D
Levels adjusted and a little sharpening and contrast added with Corel Aftershot Pro.
That lens seems to like those pinkish-light lilac-type colors, doesn't it?

It is astounding on film, Colton. I need to use it with my P30T, but my wife won't let me take it off the K20D.

Fantastic shot, by the way.

CR, tht's amazing. I can't see buying the Da50mm 1.8. I'm sticking with my 35 plastic fantastic. I'm just a little anxious to see more examples of bokeh from Da35mm 2.4. That vertical floral is just plain delicious.. Freddy

Perfect shot, Zealex. Amazing detail. Nice bokeh there. What a wonderful dog. If I ever buy a house I would want a dog like that, guarding my house and running around my yard! What great eyes and dignity he has. Fredy
