Not a whole lot really, my "default" import settings to Lightroom (LR) gave a very nice photo. The lighting when I took the photo was great, the sun was just setting behind the trees.
I don't have LR here, but essentially all I did was to increase exposure slightly (was underexposed to not loose the bright areas) and opened the shadows, reduced highlights. I then put on a gradient exposure on the top part to avoid loosing the highlights, and lightened the boy with the "ovoid" mask to make him stand out a bit more. That was all I believe.

Here is another photo taken shortly after with the same PP:
(btw, all "natural" props, I was unable to make him leave Teddy and Cat behind at home)

The plastic fantastic, coupled to an equally fantastic bit of plastic (and metal ).

Messing around with the 35/2.4. First one SOOC, the second with a fluorescent white balance. Also SOOC.

It had been a while since I've used my 35mm when I decided to use it for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I can't remember if it was always like this, but it was very slow focusing. Anyone else have this problem? It was definitely low light. Shooting with a K30.
