Dunno about slow focus, because I focus mine manually due to fried electrics hah hah. I get great focus using 10x zooming with it on my Fuji X-E1 :-)

Anyone else have this problem? It was definitely low light. Shooting with a K30.
I don't find mine to be slow. Its a little faster than the kit lenses. But keep in mind that lenses with brighter aperture will have easier time to focus in darkness. f2.4 is not super bright like f1.4 would be. Make sure the focus ring is not bent and that there are no particles stuck in it, and clean the lens mount. Camera battery might also affect AF, if I remember right. (I should mention that I mostly use it on the K-01, which is always in live view so the focusing is a little different from a DSLR. Anyway, do a test in bright natural light to be sure)

Bay in Tel Aviv suburbs.

A very nice photo!

Here is a (crossposted) photo almost straight out of camera from a recent family outing with the 35mm lens on my K30.

Damn good job! That's awesome!

Thanks ! It's done with the front element from a cheap 35-80 zoom which I removed and mounted into a 49mm filter ring.

Nice, especially the first one! For sunsets, the best WB is usually daylight or CTE (ths WB option emphasizes the colours), but each sunset is unique, so adjustments might be necessary

I just sold this lens after keeping it on my K-50 for nearly a year. We had some good times, didn't we?

Yes, we certainly did.

Wow. These are some nice pictures in here lately. I think I need to give this lens a little attention.
