Also a touch of autumn... with some K10D CCD color punch.

I bought this lens about a year and a half ago. But after getting a 15mm wide angle lens just recently, I went back to my little pink plastic beauty (35mm) and wow! I then realized how sharp it is. Since then, I've been using it a lot more. Here are a few samples.

Yes, it sure is a sharp little lens and I love mine. But I'm not sure I would want a pink one. Black on black is more my style.

Well, I agree, but a pink one is probably less likely to be stolen. It certainly is an interesting way to keep one's equipment safe.

There definitely is some truth in that. There's no way I would steal it.

I was gonna go for the gold color edition but I thought it would be too attractive. Plus the pink one goes with my pink K-r body, which is also pink (tho I don't use it much anymore since I have a K-5II). Anyway, yes. I love pink!

Found a metallic hood that screws into the thread of the lens. It was cheap too.

I love the coloured versions of the DA 35mm! I would love to get a yellow one to fit my yellow K-01, but I couldn't find one at a reasonable price. I think most of the colours were only available in Japan, for a limited time. Pink is not bad, definitely something special and can help with portraits, because people will look at the lens more happily

When I was in Tokyo in June I saw most of the colours still available there.

The 35mm 2.4 certainly is a very sharp lens and I use it quite regularly. I sometimes miss the weather sealing, though. An HD 35mm 2.0 WR would be really something to dream of, provided it is kept compact and light.
