Hello there,
I'm new to this forum and also a recent owner of this lense.
I'll go a bit off topic with my post, but i'd like to hear some advice from you.

I'd like to enjoy my new lense as much as you do, but i'm in a sort of photography crisis.
I have no inspiration, no ideas at the moment. I must say that the weather and the night falling really early doesn't help.

But i'm posting this in case you have some tips to help me get out this unproductive period.

Thanks in advance.

Meg4mi
Snow scenes are very interesting to shoot. You might also go to a local botanical gardens that has an orchid greenhouse and or butterflies. I'm attached a shot I made in the orchid house in Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I shot this with the DA55-300 spot metered on my K30. I'm about to frame it and hang it on my wall of favorites. Good shooting, to you. Freddy

Love the look on his face, and placement of his arm. Looks so serious - lol.

I took my K3 and DAL 35/2.4 out to the Madrid Sunday market (the rastro) today. I continue to be impressed by the AF, dynamic range and IQ in general from this camera. This lens seems to focus much better than it did on my K200D.

Cross-posted to the K3 thread.

Love the versatility of this lens. Not often rated as a portrait lens, but hey ...

Never noticed that. Would have been so nice, but I zoomed in and it appears to be most likely some trees, they don't look like human silhouettes.
