Which 100mm do you have, one of the macros? I was about to try the 35mm as a walkaround lens on my K70...set to ISO 400, Av 5.6 and just go around snapping away. I planned to start my trial today but it rained all day here in Perth, so maybe next week I will try. I am not yet totally familiar with the 35mm, having been spoiled by the 40mm Limited.
I have the DFA 100mm, it's a ripper little lens. You won't need iso @400 with the 35mm, it lets plenty of light in.
I always like the wide lenses too, I'm hooked on my da10-17mm, however have had the occasional outing where I've forced myself to take just the 35mm and it's worked out quite well, looks quite similar to a 50mm on film, plus it's light.
Usually when I travel I take a few lenses, but as you know, it's a pain, and a long lens is usually only useful if we go to a zoo.
