It was a beautiful morning in Montreal yesterday. Jupiter and Mars were just above the Moon, Saturn is the star to the left of the moon. A two frame pano to get more of the city in the picture.

We have been asked to stay at home and are currently voluntarily self-isolating. Fortunately this is where I live and it is a pleasant clear autumn day. (X posted)

Here at 52 degrees North, it is technically spring, but whatever isn't still covered in white stuff is either the brown of dead leaves and grass or the darker brown of mud. Schools, restaurants, bars, hair salons and cinemas are closed; streets are deserted and the melting snow is turning everything into slop. You are fortunate, indeed!

Yes, I realise how fortunate I am. It is virtually like that all year round. We never get any of that white stuff. But, like you, we are in self-isolation and all the hotels, bars, restaurants (except for takeaway), cinemas and gyms are closed. Let's hope it is all over soon.

Nice. Interesting too: if they’re not cropped, they would appear to confirm that the Plastic Fantastic is in fact full-frame capable

(Or is that old news and I’m way behind? )

Hello Tsuken
Yes it is interesting, you are right, ... Maybe there is little crop, just for framing, it does not change the fact that it is capable ! I would say it is necessary to close some first stops to totally avoid a quite slight vignetting, but from about f5.6 to f11, there's no vignet at all.
In my case, I wonder if there is not an imperceptible distorsion in the horizon line sometimes...
I like separation (contrast) on the "binoculars" shot, and overall sharpness seems good
Thank you !

It is old news, and you are way behind The DA 35 2.4 is full frame compatible. The vignetting you will see is minor and is compatible with a fast lens on a full frame camera, other full frame lenses will vignette even more.

Here's a lightning in Daytona, FL.

I was using a macro lens to photograph my Asahi Pentax Trinity- AP, S and K models, however diffraction ruined the photos since I needed f/22.
Plastic fantastic to the rescue. f/22 was no problem. My trusty housebound K-r was the camera.

A lovely sharp image of three beautiful cameras. You have put a great lens to very good use.
