Maybe it takes me longer than others because I also thoroughly clean the lens and re-lube the aperture ring (and other parts too) in the process.

I just realized that you are undertaking Zeiss conversion for others. Do you supply the lens itself as well as conversion service? or conversion only? Wondering which Zeiss you would recommend to someone who is primarily into flower photography? My favorite lens to date is the Pentax-A (and/or FA) 645 120mm f 4.0. I use the FA version on the 645D and the A version on either the 645D or with an adapter on the K-1.

It's been a bit quiet around here of late, so I thought I best dig into the archives and find something to post as I haven't been out and about with the camera much of late.

I tracked down an image that didn't impress me in it's natural state so I pushed and pulled it more than normal in post to see if I could get anything out of it. Below are two versions of the same image, the first one is where I thought it should go to whilst retaining some elements of the original scene. The second image is the same as the first but with an extra texture added. Hopefully you can spot it. This style of PP isn't everyone's 'cup of tea' but hopefully somebody around here appreciates them and has some more images to post too.

Possible Zeiss lenses for sale:

I'm curious who might be interested in the following, before I officially put up any/all my gear for sale. If you genuinely would be interested, please let me know for what lens and at what price (please mention USD/AUD etc) I really want to gauge the response before I sell even one lens. Its a sell all or sell nothing situation for me. I'm not asking one person to buy these all, (but hey go for it if you want) but rather, if I can get enough people to sell all of it. I think the time has come for me to jump ships to Nikon.

The items I am referring to are:

Zeiss Distagon T* 35mm f/2
Zeiss Makro - Planar T* 50mm f/2
Zeiss Planar T* 85mm f/1.4
Zeiss Makro Planar T* 100mm f/2

They are all in very good condition. the 50mm has some slight scuffs, but they are all optically perfect and the others are basically like new.

I've a ton of other kit too that I will be selling off if all these zeiss can go, including 3x FF zooms and MIJ limited lenses, however the zeiss are my priority for now. I still need the rest of my kit work at present and I can afford to be without the zeiss whilst I slowly transition to a new brand. Selling these Zeiss might just be my gateway to a d850.

If I get enough genuine interest, then stay tuned for an official sale offer on the gear...

All these lenses are ZK mount for Pentax models. None have had any conversions.

Grant! My pleasure brother. As much as I love my K-1 and glass, there's just too many doors at a professional level that I simply can not open with a Pentax. I'm really going to try and make this D850 swap over happen.
