Zeiss Makro Planar T* 2/100 ZK for sale on the Bay

It's funny how this conversation about the elusive 2/100 ZK is in this thread and at the same time one just popped up in my search for er, another Zeiss lens/

Anyhoo, I don't know anything about the seller I just came across the listing by accident. The seller is in Japan, the seller's name is SAIKORON. I checked out their store and they have a lot of Carl Zeiss / Zeiss Contax items listed for sale.

Hopefully they're not dodgy, not really sure about the price either. Especially when you can pick up a ZF/ZF2 and a Leitax for half or even less than half what they're asking for their ZK.

Just bought myself a little gift: the Distagon 35mm f/2. It arrived today so I just took a couple of snaps in the garden. Not sure about uploading technique to get the best resolution (tips appreciated) but here goes:

That's a beautiful Bokeh for a 25mm, TFS. The details are fantastic, now you got me in an LBA mode.
Need to take out my extension tubes. Wonderful!

I just got a copy of the Carl Zeiss 100mm f 2.0 Planar T* lens, and I am super impressed with it. It is yielding better images than some of my lens that cost three or four times as much!

Now since this is the club for Zeiss users and experts, please tell me what my next Zeiss lens should be, something between 35mm and 85mm, not interested in long telephotos. I should note that I already have medium format lenses CZJ 80, 120, and 180, and that I am not interested in telephotos or super wide lenses. Other than that, myt only criteria is image quality.

If this request provokes discussion, that is fine too.
I only have one, the 2/35 ZK. Love it!

Ouch

In some cases, it's simply cost - people cut their cloth according to their means.
In my case, exactly. My newest Zeiss will always be an old Zeiss.

Welcome to the Carl Zeiss T* Mount Club!
What is/was “T*ZK mount”?
Related to K-mount some way?
{if the answer is buried in these 90 pages, I apologize}

G'day,

Zeiss Classic series of lenses were produced for several mounts including ZK for Pentax cameras.

The ZK production run appears to have been quite short and did not cover the full range of Zeiss classic lenses. For example, if you want to use the Zeiss Planar T* 2/135mm lens on a Pentax camera, a Leitax adaptor Leica & Pentax & Nikon | Leitax can be fitted to a Nikon ZF/ZF2 mount lens.

The T* relates to the anti-reflective coating used on the lens and applies across the range of classic lenses regardless of camera mount.

Here's a link to the Zeiss webpage for the f 1.4 85mm: ZEISS Planar T* 1.4/50
