Originally posted by Tas About 18 months ago, Rob (PM name Lightsource) got in touch with me about selling my ZK Makro Planar lenses (2/50 & 2/100) to him. I wasn't able to help Rob get these excellent lenses, but he persisted elsewhere and found someone ready to sell theirs in a package that included the ZK lens that had eluded me for years; the Distagon T* 21/2.8. So Rob got his Makro Planars and gave me the opportunity to pick up the elusive Distagon 21/2.8 ZK. Now, as Rob has moved on I feel I must acknowledge his help and thank him for finally connecting me with what is one of my favourite lenses. Hopefully other owners of the 21/2.8 drop by and share what they've captured with this lens too.

Yes, 28mm is a very nice focal length, wide enough to include surroundings, but still not so wide as to get the dramatic distortion of perspective. And the 28/2 is a very nice lens.
I will miss it, as I am almost done myself, transitioning from Pentax K Zeiss to Loxia Zeiss on the Sony A7rII. And unfortunately, there is no Loxia 25 or 28mm. 21 is definitely too wide for me.
I have one lens left to sell: the Zeiss makro planar 50mm f2.... Amazing how fast they sold
