True - except those taillights look like they may have come off a 1960 Chrysler...

While in Palm Springs for a conference for work, I managed to head down to the Salton Sea (interesting place: California's largest lake, saltier than the Pacific Ocean, 235 ft. below sea level). This was taken from the NE shore of the lake, looking west as the sun set behind the mountains over a calm lake. xpost to K-1 pics thread.

wonderful comp and image! you made the best of it from the looks of it.

FA20

same comp, double the exposure time. blended in the spinning wheel from the above shot since the motion didn't show up in this one... and processed a bit differently...

Sunrise at Peanut Lake, Crested Butte, CO, July 2016. These flowers seemed as if they were peering through a window in the brush at water's edge, watching the breaking dawn. xpost to K-1 pics thread.

Those taillights from the '60 Chrysler were custom fitted to that old Pontiac. The original Pontiac lights don't look anything like those - they are small and round.

Hi Paul
Sorry bout that fingers engaged before the brain
The Chrysler photo did not show only a 404 message
The cars of that era were excecessive but to us now great
Cars today have no style or individuality.
