"In the zone"

A shot with the Super Takumar 20/4.5.
I like this old lens for situations where a newer lens would give too much contrast.

I agree about the contrast and I prefer the colours of the older lenses. The greens always appear oversaturated on the modern lenses.

Does my SMC Pentax-A 20mm F2.8 count as modern, they were made between 1985 and 2001.

I have been really impressed with mine since I got it about 9 months ago.

Won an eBay auction from my hotel room near Newark airport after a visit to Hoboken a couple of weeks before Sandy. It was the last night before I flew out to Taipei. I like its colours and also the barrel distortion it gives.

I completely agree about the Super Takumar 20mm/4.5. It gives me the most natural colour rendering of any lens I own.

That's probably down to my over zealous PP in Lightroom.

Nice pictures, the FA 20mm is really a great lens, I'm using it on my K20D and it better that to 20mm I had on my Nikon set up which I all sold for the Pentax.
