"Watermelon". Shot at f16. The last one I bought from a truck vendor wasn't very sweet, so I asked the girl at the 7-11 if this melon was ripe and sweet. She told me it was. And it was just as ripe and sweet as it looks.

It had an internal crack towards the lower right in the edible flesh.

And it looks full and juicy but not bruised, although it is getting close tot he bruised look.

All these great images in the Tak Club and the 20mm Club convinced me to get a new-to-me Super Multi-coated Takumar 20/4.5. Just got it yesterday and enjoyed taking it out for the first time today. Loving it so far . Here's a cliche Fall photo which demonstrates the vibrant colors and flare! Taken with my *ist D (my dedicated m42 camera): [xposted]

This morning I've been looking back at some of this year's snaps with the Super Takumar 20mm.

Nice photos, Dave. It was your pictures of the stoneworks and frozen creeks on the Moor that got me interested in the Tak 20 in the first place. One of my best purchases to be sure.

You have a mighty strange definition of "snaps". I do think you, at the very least, have put a thought or two into those "snaps" before snapping them

"A Clutch of Shallots". Photographed at f16.

I'm running out of food to photograph. It must be time to do some grocery shopping . . .

Really hard to get a good angle on this building. Too hard, in fact. Have to give it another go some day.

Wow! Where is this building located? That's a major bit of cantilever design!

It's in Oslo, Norway, right next to Oslo Central train station. This Wikipedia article isn't quite updated (lacking anything about these two buildings) but contains a bit about the Barcode project of which they are a part: Barcode Project - Wikipedia
