Quite understandable if you have 30 to 40 years between heavy snow falls. My image was taken in an area where you normally get a snow depth of at least 50-100 cm every winter, and the buidlings are designed to handle that. The snow provides some nice extra insulation as well, so no reason to get rid of it

You will see the same here once you get on the weatherside of the mountains. I'm glad we're on the lee side

Some more winter images with the A20/2.8 on the K-1. Taken last Sunday - spring is in the air!

A View Impeded

Where did I put the chainsaw?

The "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8) was in on me with this.

A Fine Lady

Perhaps an unusual choice for a portrait lens...

Not quite symmetrical. The security camera looking near you!

An eye-catching part of the image.

Both fine ladies (the Alvis included) must be wondering what they’re doing in a foreign car dealer’s!

A good lens choice for a portrait, in this case, may I add?

I must admit I was tight for space, so it had to be the "Good Lady” (Pentax-A 20mm F2.8) pressed into service.

A commissioned shoot; as the story was, that these two were only thirteen days apart on birthdays.

Great shots on this thread as always! After a long hiatus I got out tonight with my K-5/A-20 combo. Here are two shots I liked best.

Yep, I should have asked them to re-point them symmetrically!
