Aye, you can get so much more locomotive in the shot.

The same A 20 / 2.8 on a full frame camera, it's wide i did noe notice the Guy next to me

Its my go to A lens for landscape , i usually take it with me as its so compact as well .

Hi Dave, with all the hoods on my lenses it depends what i doing , if i just take the camera with the 50mm and 20mm in my pocket i dont use the hood or i may stick it in a pocket , IT seems not to be a problem from what i have seen with it on or off, if i have a camera bag with enough room i will take them but not always use them . The hood i had is only 20mm high and 95mm round so it will fit in your back pocket when not on use , i just brought a cheap one off ebay .

It's not a issue in your shot,
but the lens' moustache distortion
really shows up on full frame film,
while it can be corrected on APS-C digital.
