Tokina 20-35 f/3.5-4.5 V1 on K-1 @ 20mm

Although the EXIF states this is a Pentax smc PENTAX-F 35-70mm F3.5-4.5, I promise it isn't. I also promise that it IS taken at 20mm! Used with a B+W polarizer and no hood since the one I have causes a pretty severe vignette at 20mm.

I like this lens. It's remarkably good.

Hi this time some small technical post. Precisely post production. I have FA 20mm 2.8. Very like this small lens. But it have some hat field curvature. very annoying.
I've tried manual correction systems in different programs. DCU, Lightroom, Silkypix, RAW Therapee. And best was in Silkypix as only this program have two stage correction. But I was still only half way solution.
I'm still playing arond with C1. I've got suggestion from GetDPI forum to use Pentax 21mm lens. But it is profile for APSC camera. So it not give me what I wan't. Next step was find something most similar.
So I go to sony lenses department and tried Sony 20mm 2.8 SAL20F28 set distorion on 120% and got it!.

Very best correction I could get:

Discovered recently that my FA20 is injured again (not focusing beyond about 10ft for some reason. No idea how/why), so my SMC Takumar 20/4.5 has been promoted to first bag...

From the last ten days or so...

And some from the last couple nights...

My old Vivitar 19/3.8 decided to completely lock up a couple months ago. Until I can replace that FL, I've been using the kit 18-55 fixed at 20mm. If no one objects, here's a couple attempts, using a K10D:

How did it lock up? Just wondering, seems like a solid lens from what I'm seeing online. But all things fail at some point I guess.

No clue. It was working fine the last time I used it back in Feb. It's a manual-focus, A-setting lens, btw. The aperture ring turns with some effort. Don't know if it was like that before, as I always used the A setting. The focus ring is stuck tight - it won't budge at all. AFAIK, the lens wasn't dropped or bumped since I last used it. As you mentioned, it's a big chunk of metal and glass - no plastic to be found at all. I may send it out for repair, but it might make more economic sense to just replace it. We'll see...
