It does. For Nikon, not for Pentax yet(?)

Distortion is rather scary on FF. I'm yet to look for a correction profile in LR6, though I'm confident there is one (or one that matches well enough).
a friend of mine did find a lens profile that correct mostly the mustache distortion. I will ask him where he did find it.

Hi pinholecam, knowing that you already have a sony A7, would you still invest in a pentax FF?

I still prefer one for sure.
I have a good set of AF lenses that I'd like to see work on the Pentax FF.
Nice F and FA lenses, FA* and the wonderful Limiteds, with proper aperture coupling (esp for studio stuff) and AF (plus EXIF data).

So far, I have owned almost every brand except Nikon (though I have regular access to one) and Fuji (common enough for me to try at their showrooms here).
I have to say that Pentax has the best 'photographic flow' in the way the features and interface is laid out.
Sony so far has been the worst.
I often am left wondering how can a maker who has been in the game for about 8-10yrs (excluding Minolta heritage) still do some of the choices that they do.
To be fair to the Sony, I use it rather manually and often slow, so the lack of the better features/interface is just an irritation rather than real issue.

I also don't trust Sony too much on how long they keep a mount type.
Just look at the A mount (formerly Minolta mount) and even the more recent E-mount (aps-c NEX mount).
Just loosely hanging there like how Panasonic and Olympus began drying out the Four Thirds support when they moved to the more lucrative m4/3.

I am beginning to think that anyone with enough MF lenses should get an A7.
Its better for MF (period).
Unless one hates EVF or can't take EVF's.

If one has a decent set of AF lenses, then the Pentax FF is a must.
I am sure its going to be the better camera in actual use and specs (every Pentax has been so)

I'd certainly be getting the Pentax FF once its out unless its too high priced (my tolerance will be a price lower than D810 )

My friend told me he found out the lens profile there Rokinon 14mm Lightroom Lens Profile - Sven Stork, it ain't perfect at all, but it can manage a bit of the mustache distortion. It's not perfect but it's a start.

The annoying thing is that it's a Nikon profile that you have to select manualy each time.

Using the Adobe Lens Profile Downloader, you can find several custom profiles for the Samyang 14mm.

Profile works well.
Thanks to everyone for the help.

This one had pretty obvious distortion on the horizon line, and it was corrected with the profile.

Ciwidey

Was in Bandung recently and made a day trip to visit scenic farmland and villages in Ciwidey, south-east bandung, Indonesia. There are many strawberry farms in this area, as it is located in the mountainous region.
