I don't think I've ever scrolled down so fast, here on PF, before...lol.

And never so disappointed once I did.

thanks thanks.. i do agree that 55 is a very good lens. It wasn't on my want list in the past.

one more from the DA*55..

I'm a proof of the pudding is in the eating kind of guy.
Which is why I dislike getting into all those big theory arguments about whether a lens is FF ok or not.

"Just take a damn picture with it" and move on imo.

Wonderful lens indeed even on FF.

Testing out a newly acquired K28/3.5.
I've read good things and impressive samples from fellow forum user OSV and decided to get one.

I must say that for the money, this is an impressive lens indeed.
I left a full sized sample on my flickr for those who are interested.
It holds up nicely on FF

K24/2.8

May not be the sharpest lens on the edges on a camera with thick sensor stack like the stock A7, but there is this 'bite' on a K24/2.8 image that just makes me reach for it so often.
Something to do with the way it handles contrasts (micro-contrast is the term perhaps) not just raw fine sharpness.
Also the over package of the lens, the size, the flare handling.
