That's a great shot with the 24mm, Jenkwang. That's why I bought the DA* 16-50 sight unseen when I bought my DSLR. I was using the FA 24-90 on my MZ-S and just could not do without the field of view, and 16mm is the number I need.

Your colors are absolutely amazing. Any chance you could share how you achieved this? I feel like i could reach into the screen and touch everything.

Thanks, glad you like the shot.
Indeed, I find the 24mm the most 'accommodating' to my preference.
Especially so when overseas out of the cramped confines of the city (like Singapore where I'm from) , which seems necessary for wider lens more often (perhaps due to tight spaces and lack of it to move back).
24mm seems wide enough, without over the top perspective distortions.

Thanks.
The photo is the usual adjustments in contrast, shadows, highlights.
Used a mask and curves to adjust for the clouds only (though a plugin like Nik Color Efex would do it in a click; Just that I am contemplating if I should get it)
I wanted to try something different with the colors, thought of Velvia, so loaded up the DXOFilm Pack, but ended up choosing the Provia-F setting instead.

Hope that helps.

Great work Pinholecam! I agree on the 24/25mm usability. Nice and wide without over-stretching too much.

Btw NIK software is highly recommended (by me anyway :-) ). Can't be missed really (again by me :-) ). Good sharpening option, good de-noise option, good HDR option, good editing option (Viveza), good BW conversion option and finally all the (stackable) filters in Color EFEX Pro. And all with the venerable control points.

Fishy shot taken with the A50/1.2 @3.2 or something close. Part of a small set taken in a restaurant - unfortunately the others (some better) I shouldn't post here.

Yes, NIK Efex is really good.
I tried a free version of Perfect Effects 8 and it was so slow (though powerful).

Probably go back to using Nik Efex though ironically, I am holding off purchase of the current version as I don't like the way it works with control points as much as the older version.
With 24mp files, I find that I use Define less that I used to as I can often downsample to cheat of the noise.
New HDR efex also seems to give me funny outcomes compared to the older one.
So I am unsure after trying for 1mth.
(Likely purchase it still, though it sort of beat up my full enthusiasm about getting the latest version)
