Did anyone say it has to be digital?
Z-1p with FA* 200mm f/2.8 on Kodak Elite 100 silde film, taken in 2005 (my daughter is now 16...).

Digital comes in for digitization: K-1 with Schneider-Kreuznach Xenon-Zirconia 89mm f/2.8 1:1 (industrial line scan lens).

Unfortunately, some over enthusiastic Canon guy chopped off the lever and lever guard for the K50/1.2.
Upon inspection, both can be easily removed (non damaging),
He should be arrested and locked up far away from any photographic equipment until that lever and guard grow back on.

I have a Bayonet Takumar 135/2.5 like that as well, the lever is shortened and the lens won't close on my K200d, nor on any other of my Pentaxes and thus i paid too much for a useless lens.
I only noticed after arriving home (bought it on a second-hand trade show) and testing it with several camera's (first thought is was a K200d incompatibility).

You should the pictures you took of this model with the DFA 50 1.4 beside these for comparison. I agree the old 55 did well.

I dunno if this helps, but I am addicted to using DA lenses that are meant for crop on FF bodies (K-1, in non crop mode but FF). I have so many images to post here but perhaps have a gander at these two albums'

HD DA 20-40; HD DA 20-40 on K-1 (Full Frame Mode) | Flickr

DA 12-24; DA 12-24 on K-1 (Full Frame Mode) | Flickr

These are fully finished images rather than SOOCs, so some may have had vignette treated, some may have had it left as or even added more.

I have also bought a 55-300PLM that seems to work very well on the K-1 at certain focal lengths and shall start compiling an album for that as well.
