Pentax Lenses on FF Club

I would like to start a thread to showcase what is possible with Pentax lenses on FF.
Of course at this point, the camera involved will not be from Pentax, but the lenses will be.

The aim/hope is to let others know that their Pentax lenses can perform well on FF

Thanks
JK

Edit :
Those posting here, pls give some respect to it being a Pentax Forum.
Don't take it as a chance to bash Pentax or promote another camera brand.

Its about the Pentax lenses that we hold in our hands and keep in our care (because we love them)

Pentax film cameras work for this testing.

My trusty Pentax K 50mm ƒ1.4 on a Canon 1dsmkii, wide open. I use this lens a lot on the Canon, it really does deliver the goods for me.

Nice shot.
The K50 is less common than the M50 and A50's.
Certainly a keeper lens.

K50/1.2

Unfortunately, some over enthusiastic Canon guy chopped off the lever and lever guard for the K50/1.2.
Upon inspection, both can be easily removed (non damaging),

Just a friendly query. What about older pentax FFs?

Beautiful! Now that's a proper 50mm shot! Not a 35mm=50mm nor a 50mm=75mm...
Great bokeh and sharp! Great model and lighting as well!

Great shots!
I love those circular effect bokeh at the corners! That is one of the effects that's missing when mounted on a smaller format.
I also like the third shot, the eyes are sharp! Is the aperture wide open?

K 17mm f4 Fish

A couple of pictures taken with the Pentax (K) 17mm f4 FISH. It's more fun then I thought!

Full frame is necessary for this particular lens, on APS-C the Fish-eye effect is greatly reduced and the DA10-17mm zoom is certainly a much better choice.

Thanks.

I've not noticed if the circular bokeh appears on aps-c or not (likely its not going to make a difference)
The wider FOV with the same DOF at the same focus distance would help show off more of the surrounding though (ie. show more of the OOF highlights in this case)

The 3rd shot with the K50/1.2 is at f1.2

Awesome shot.

I know it's a dumb question but what kind of adapter do you have to use to use Pentax manual glass on another brand of camera?
