I use it mostly for landscapes (its in my bad weather bag together with the 100 macro), but its bokeh is oh so lovely... need to use it more for open aperture close up stuff!

new one:

DC Chill

Great to see new members to the club. And some great images too. Here are a few from a trip to DC.

There's a new review of this lens in Polish on Optyczne:

Test Pentax HD DA 20-40 mm f/2.8-4.0 ED Limited DC WR - Wst

which may become available in English on Lenstip later.

It has some useful data,
although the general tone repeats the usual complaints
(too expensive, too limited a range, . . . ).

Thanks for the link. and thank you google for google translate. There are lots of choices out there. There is no perfect lens and each choice has it's tradeoffs. I have found no reason to regret my choice. This lens just seems to fit my shooting style and needs. Others may come to a different conclusion.

The lens is ideal for me in the city and as a bonus close focus
Also, the lens is very sharp
In the original format you can read all the information on the information boards
